RecDesk Overview

Welcome to the Garner Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department's online registration portal. This site is used to register for classes, programs, and special events that are offered by Garner Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources. Prior to enrolling in a class or program, you'll need to set up a user name and password - click Help for a tutorial or click "Create New Account" under the Log In page. Please note that for preschool and youth programs, the parent/guardian should register themselves as the user, then enter family members as prompted.

Residency Requirements

Throughout the registration process you will notice many programs have different fees for Town of Garner residents (RES) and non-residents (NON-RES). The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department is an agency of the Town of Garner and receives municipal tax revenue paid by residents living inside the corporate limits of the Town. Those who live outside the corporate limits are charged a higher rate for participation in programs because they do not pay Town taxes. Participants must live inside the corporate limits of Garner at the time of registration to receive the resident rate. Please note that a "Garner address" does not necessarily equate to being a resident.
